Welcome to Crouchendsocialise.co.uk
What is it all about? that’s a good question!! well here is a small explanation of are website, the idea behind our thinking and are goals. We will be posting lots of regular information about these areas Crouch End (the hub) or the control panel!! and all areas closely connected Finsbury Park, Muswell Hill, East Finchley, Highgate, Hornsey, Wood Green, Archway and many more but generally all areas local to each other in North London.
So that’s the areas covered and then the categories related to those areas, Going Out, Health and Beauty, Food and Drink, Home and Life Style and Shopping.
So we are here to promote these categories of business within these areas and encourage local people and outsiders to use these businesses through our website, including bigger Events in the wider London area. Hopefully that makes sense!!

Chinese New Year
14th February 2016
If you’re not too busy this Sunday pop down to Chinatown to welcome in the Year of the Monkey, at this massive Chinese New Year celebration which will fill most of the West End with music, acrobatics, activities and pyrotechnics. A grand parade featuring ten lion dance teams will set out from Trafagar Square at 10am, weaving its way up to the buzzing heart of Chinatown. On Wardour Street and Gerrard Street you’ll find craft stalls, Chinese food stands and more traditional dance, plus a stage on Shaftesbury Avenue will host local up-and-coming talent. Families should head to Charing Cross Road where there’ll be musical performances from Chinese Young Culture Ambassadors and a martial arts display as well as crafts and workshops.
Trafalgar Square’s party will go off with a bang on the main stage at noon – they’ve bought in some firecrackers especially. The line-up of performances includes gravity-defying high pole dances, comedy and acrobatics from Szechuan Opera and a monkey-themed finale involving fireworks and a light projection on Nelson’s Column.
