It’s this time of year we look at our gardens and think; time to get the mower out! If, like me, you are blighted by neighbours who have an immaculate garden in all seasons and need some inspiration to spruce up your own outside space, then you don’t have to go far to get incentive. If you are in Crouch End then Garden Transformations showroom is an ideal place to get wonderful ideas. A short hop and you can visit Bounds Green’s Sunshine Garden Centre, where they proudly boast that they have all your gardening needs under one roof.Of course there is always the stunning Alexandra Palace Garden Centre to visit. So there’s no excuse really; go on, get inspired.
There are fantastic home furnishing places right around the corner. Little Paris, Crouch End, offers beautiful vintage furniture and stunning accessories. Highgate has Forget Me Nots Vintage; lose yourself in this gorgeous shop. Aladdin’s, Hornsey, is well worth a visit, they have a wide range of furniture to choose from; maybe find a little DIY project for that unique piece to add to your home. Indish, Crouch End, has some beautiful design pieces. Another Crouch End jewel is Michael Slade Furniture.
If you are thinking of a new kitchen then the local choice is fantastic. Beautifully practical kitchens are tailor-made by Lambert Welch, Muswell Hill. Also in Muswell Hill is Tim Moss, bespoke beautiful design from contemporary to classic. TopMarks, Highgate, offers a good range too. Funktional Kitchens, Crouch End, offers a range of kitchens to suit all budgets and are celebrating 10 years by giving away a free coffee machine with every kitchen.
